TAKI MIYAKAWA

TAKI MIYAKAWA(1987) is a Japanese designer who studied Bio-Environmentology in Tamagawa University in Tokyo.

He continued his study at Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands, and completed the degree in 2016.
In 2017, he established a new office, TAKI MIYAKAWA STUDIO, in Tokyo.

MIYAKAWA's approach is mainly  analysis and resolving context of things to understand where they came from.

He finds a new beginning and re-applies principles where he sees a potential of new possibilities. He attempts to create a new scenery in everyday life through his designing process.

宮川 健(1987)は、日本で生態環境学を学び、 2016年にオランダのデザインアカデミーアイントホーフェンを卒業しました。
彼はバックグラウンドである自然科学と現代デザインから影響を受け、独自の視点で物事を発展させ物と空間を作り上げていきます。
2017年に日本にてデザイン事務所を立ち上げ、コンセプトメイキングから始まり素材開発、プロダクト、空間、狭小住宅と国内外でデザインに関わる活動をしています。


彼のアプローチは、物や事の源流を辿り、読み解き、そこにある文脈を分析、分解し、”新たな始まり”を見つける事にあります。
初源の存在に立ち還る事により、浮かび上がる新たな可能性は現代の生活にどのような変化を与えるのか。

物事の本質を見つめ、地球との繋がりを探し出し、そこから新たな始まりを見つけ、現代の風景を変える事を試みています。
